System Overview
The electrolyzer is the core unit of a water electrolysis hydrogen production system. It drives water splitting using electrical energy to generate hydrogen and oxygen, enabling the conversion from electricity to hydrogen. As the fundamental building block of a hydrogen system, its performance directly affects system efficiency, energy consumption, and operational stability.
EPC offers self designed electrolyzer solutions covering multiple technology routes including PEM and AEM. Through optimization of membrane electrode assembly structure, flow field design, and thermal management, we ensure stable operation under real world conditions and support engineering scale up. The system can be flexibly configured for distributed energy, industrial hydrogen supply, and green fuel systems.
Main System Components
🔹 Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) – Enables the electrochemical reaction; the core functional unit of the electrolyzer
🔹 Bipolar Plates & Flow Field Structure – Manages gas distribution and mass transfer; influences efficiency and consistency
🔹 Sealing & Structural System – Ensures gas tightness and long term operational stability
🔹 Water Management & Gas Channels – Supplies reactants and removes products
🔹 Monitoring & Interface Unit (temperature, pressure, flow) – Supports operational status monitoring and system integration
