PEM/AEM Electrolyzer Test Station

The EPC electrolyzer test station enables automated testing of single cells and short stacks across different power levels.

The system features multiple fully automatic pressurization modes. The anode and cathode are supplied with pressurized deionized water by high-precision pumps, including flow meters, conductivity, and temperature control.

Power supply can be operated in recirculation or direct mode. The design ensures reliable water flow into the cell, maintaining constant pressure and temperature during operation.

The liquid loop pressure is automatically adjusted to the gas pressure, preventing mechanical stress on the electrolyzer.

The proprietary water separation system includes automatic level control to avoid pressure drops and ensure reliable gas-liquid separation.

Green Methanol Reforming for Hydrogen Production

Green methanol steam reforming is the mainstream direction for hydrogen production from methanol.

Methanol is an excellent carrier for natural gas, coal, and hydrogen energy. It is liquid at ambient temperature and pressure, enabling long-term, safe, and stable storage, making it an ideal low-cost chemical hydrogen carrier.

Compared to hydrogen, methanol offers higher energy density and safer storage and transport. Compared to coal and natural gas, methanol is more abundant and easier to store and transport.

Methanol Reforming Hydrogen System

Low-temperature methanol reforming for fuel cells integrates methanol reforming, hydrogen purification, and standard PEM fuel cells. The process reforms methanol-water into hydrogen-rich gas, purifies it to >99.99% purity, and then feeds it into the fuel cell stack for power generation. Hydrogen purification is a critical step in this integrated system.

This solution can operate as a standalone distributed power source or work alongside wind and solar power in hybrid grid configurations. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including stationary power, temporary construction site power, smart greenhouse energy stations, methanol-hydrogen power for vehicles and vessels, industrial combined heat and power (CHP), and urban emergency power rescue, meeting electricity needs across industrial, building, transportation, and agricultural sectors.
